지중해지역원에서 이번달 11월에 새 서적을 출간하였다.
내가 연구원에 와서 일하기 시작한 후 정식으로 출판된 서적 중 내 글이 수록된 첫 책이기도 해서, 나에겐 나름 의미가 있다.
총 546 페이지에 달하는 두꺼운 책으로, 지중해지역원 외에 타 기관 소속 연구자들도 다수 참여하였다.
나는 28명의 공저자 중 한 명으로 글을 싣게 되었고, 내가 쓴 부분은 책의 가장 마지막에 나오는 "Islamic Medicine"이라는 제목의 article이다.
